Vinicius Gripp B. Ramos

I am an Associate Professor at the Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada (IMPA) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I finished my PhD in May 2013 at UC Berkeley under the supervision of Michael Hutchings.

My research interests are in the field of symplectic and contact geometry. I study different kinds of Floer homologies, namely embedded contact homology, Seiberg-Witten theory and Heegaard Floer homology. I am also interested in symplectic embeddings and billiard dynamics.

Here you can find my CV.
